Dr. Lynne Lankes

Dr. Lynne Lankes joined Montecito Veterinary Center in September 2013.  Her special interests include all the exotics from birds and reptiles to fish and small mammals.  She even likes Tarantulas and Scorpions!

Dr. Lankes is a 1995 graduate from Ross University.  She has lived in many places like the Caribbean and Hawaii, and she and her husband love to visit Alaska every year!

Dr. Lankes provides pro-bono community services for WildCare, Foothill College Veterinary Technician Program, and Marin County Animal Disaster Preparedness, as well as local small mammal and reptile rescues.

No matter if your friends don't "get it" about your relationship with your exotic pet, Dr. Lankes DOES!  And she treats your pets as if they were her own (like her Poison Dart Frog, her African Gray Parrot, and her cats, Chinchillas and rabbits)!

Dr. Lankes is a member of: the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the Association of Reptile & Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), House Rabbit Society, American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), and the Safari West Wildlife Reserve.
